⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Excellent service from start to finish. The guys modified my existing garage door to increase the headroom so my new car could fit safely inside. It was a tricky job which required some reengineering to pull off. Too easy for these guys! They were polite, professional, fast and efficient, and the finished result looks great. I’m very happy with the work and would definitely recommend them.

Recent job in Ringwood East. Very impressed with EGD. We got a quote for a door on our carport over a year ago. The price was reasonable but we decided to prioritise a few other home renovations at the time. We were impressed with how quickly a quote was arranged and the interactions we had with their team. After recovering we decided to give them a call and see if they would honour the previous quote, despite the time elapsed. As we had done a little bit of prep work ourselves, they actually quoted us a bit cheaper as that work was no longer required. We thought this showed a lot of integrity. The door was sized up delivered and installed within a few weeks. All done in about an hour. No mess left and we are so happy with how it looks. Thanks to all at EGD!

I arrived home about five minutes after the Eastern Garage Doors man arrived. He was sitting in his van and said he had already assessed the door and that the whole thing (motor, door, frame, the lot) had to be replaced. He showed me where the door had been scraping on the timber frame. I explained that I had planed the timber myself and the door was not actually touching the frame. He said the timber frame was loose and had to be replaced - fixed by simply tightening a bolt.He said the motor was old and should be replaced. It is less than two years old.The quote to repair was over $1,100, but all it needed was to be turned off for 30 minutes and re-set. Now working perfectly.

Honest and reliable. I got a quote for a new motor and booked someone to come for an installation. The techinician who came was honest enough to advise me the motor just needs a new gear. I still ended up getting a new motor from Eastern because the manufacturer of my old motor quoted a ridiculous price for just a gear replacement. I am very happy with my new Merlin set.

Joe and Tom replaced the broken springs on our apartment block basement garage door. They arrived on time, were very cognisant of residents needing to exit their vehicles and serviced the door system. They spotted 2 broken hinges and fortunately had them on-hand and replaced the broken hinges at the same time. All in all an excellent cost effective outcome. We have used EGD experienced staff previously and will continue to do so moving forwards

I originally was impressed. The salesman explained everything so I understood and the installer did a great job. About 12 months later I had a problem with my security door so I rang to ask how I could try and fix it or whether it was covered under the warranty. I was told it must be movement of the house (house is 12 years old so it’s not) or I pay $95 call out fee. If it’s not under warranty I just wanted to know (in layman’s terms) how to adjust. This experience put a real damper on the great one I had at time of purchase

I got 4 quotes on my front gate controller and all the other companies didn't even bother coming and said I needed to buy an entire new gate system. John was great, he came to quote and spent a good half hour trying to determine the fault. After determining it was most likely the controller he quoted on replacing that first, before having to change the gate arms too (which would have been a new system). Controller worked and the cost was a quarter of the cost of a new system. It's refreshing to see that there are still good, honest tradesmen out there. Thanks John and the team at Eastern Garage Doors.
